Glucosamine & Rose Hip
Glucosamine is a substance known as an amino sugar, occurring in its highest concentrations in the fluid around our joints and inside our bones. Glucosamine plays an important role in our bodies’ production of cartilage – a flexible yet tough connective tissue that pads the connections between joints and bones. Rose hip is the fruit of the rose plant that ripens by the end of summer. They contain high amounts of Vitamin C, Beta-carotene, Lutein and Lycopene. They can also be consumed as a food, being traditionally made into jams, teas and wines. They can even be eaten raw as a berry (but it’s not recommended as they contain some fine hairs inside them that are removed with cooking).
