Lutein See Clear

Lutein is a type of carotenoid vitamin, similar to beta-carotene found in carrots and Vitamin A. It functions as a pigment within the human eye and plays a role in protecting the eye from sunlight damage, working as a biological light filter of sorts. Bilberry, otherwise known as European Blueberry, is a plant that has often been used for medicinal purposes. Bilberry contains tannins and flavonoids. They differ from the North American Blueberry in several ways, but the two species are closely related and belong to the same family. Carrot is a type of root vegetable which likely originated from Persia. They contain high amounts of beta-carotene – giving it is distinctive orange colour – and high amounts of Vitamin K and Vitamin B6 respectively.
