Glucosamine & Emu Oil Joint Gel

Glucosamine is a substance known as an amino sugar, occurring in its highest concentrations in the fluid around our joints and inside our bones. Glucosamine plays an important role in our bodies’ production of cartilage – a flexible yet tough connective tissue that pads the connections between joints and bones. Emu Oil is an oil consisting of mainly fat which forms under the skin of the emu bird. Once these fats are collected, they are filtered and processed into a purer oil form, which removes bacteria and contaminants. It has been used for over 40,000 years in traditional aboriginal-Australian medicine and was first introduced into European culture by the native Australians as a natural sunscreen and moisturiser.
